Built: 1997 Architect: Steve Smyers
Description: Features the traditional parkland-style layout, the course’s wetlands and wild native grasses intertwine with abundant wooded areas, traditional shallow bunkers, and wide fairways. It is routed around tree lines and tall native grasses offer directional cues for the player to follow. The bunkering is very traditional, cut into flatter, sweeping terrain. This is the less punishing of the two courses with little water and strategic bailout areas. Particularly interesting is the Par 4, 385 yard, 4th hole, a dogleg left, with considerable mounding. Comments: rated “Four Stars” by Golf Digest’s Places to Play, and is rated as one of GolfWeek’s “Top 10 Golf Courses” among public courses in the state of New Jersey.

Description: The West Course is restricted to member play. It’s a rugged links-style layout with open terrain, fescue grass, and dramatic bunkering style. This in-your-face bunkering (188 in all) creates its signature “line of charm” challenging the golfer to stretch his or her abilities.
