Description: "Golf as it was meant to be". Consistently ranked as one of the top public-access facilities in New Jersey. Tight, tree-lined fairways place a premium on accurate tee shots. Large, well protected, undulating greens make club selection critical. The scenery is exceptionally beautiful and the course is always well maintained.
Signature Hole: #18. A 601 yard, par 5 (from the blue tees). Starts with a demanding tee shot with water right and trees left. Fairway narrows for long hitters. Final 130 yards plays uphill to a large two-level green surrounded by four bunkers. Par, on this one, is very good.
Comments: # 4 and #18 are two of the toughest holes in NJ...a real challenge for the intermediate and low handicapper...not for beginners. You must hit them straight...the fast, undulating greens will surely put your putter to the test. The course demands a combination of accuracy, power, and thought. Every hole is different and the course presents a constantly changing portfolio of interesting challenges.

Description:This course sits on top of a hill overlooking Long Island Sound with views of the water from 17 holes. With a very picturesque setting, there is also a challenging and fun golf course that offers rolling, tree-lined fairways and small, undulating, well-bunkered greens. Water comes into play on three or four holes, and there are a few doglegs and a number of challenging blind shots. A real ‘sporting’ golf course that will test the skills of every player.
Signature Hole: No. 8, 468-yard Par 5 (back tees). A picturesque hole that plays out along a tidal basin on the left side, where both your tee shot and your approach shot must carry water. The green is elevated, small, and well-bunkered, making for a fun risk-reward par-5.
Reader Comments: Always makes for a great golf outing ... Friendly staff, well maintained ... Tricky greens ... If you’re not scoring well, enjoy the scenery.
