18-HOLE COURSE

Built: 1925     
Architect: Maurice McCarthy
Description: A moderately hilly layout with narrow, tree-lined fairways and small, well-bunkered greens.  A good test of your shot-making skills with accuracy a priority.  There are two blind holes, with the 5th, 7th, 12th, and 14th especially challenging.

Signature Hole: 13th Hole.  A long par 3, 225 yards.  Plays from an elevated tee down to a well-defined, pear-shaped fairway with water on the left.  Sloped green is bunkered on the left and right with an out-of-bounds fence behind.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 37 miles.
I-95 (Connecticut Tpke.), east to Exit 6.  Proceed to 2nd traffic light, turn left onto West Ave.  Follow to end and turn left onto Stillwater Rd. and follow to club on right.
