Built: 1976 Architect: Al Zikorus Description: Your round here will be in a classic New England setting with rolling hills and great views. The course features mature trees, original stone walls, a 200 year old Church and cemetery, and just enough water to make things interesting. It's a picturesque and challenging layout with rolling, tight, tree-lined fairways, several ponds, a number of sharp doglegs, and large well trapped greens. Signature Hole: #14. A 506 yard, par 5. One of the most challenging holes on the course, with water on both sides of the fairway and a well trapped green.
Built: 2004 Architect: Mike Zikorus (Al's son) This is the first course in Connecticut recognized as a Family Course by the National Golf Course Owners Association. Description: The terrain for this layout presented unique challenges, but the resulting Zikorus design produced a family-friendly gem that will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Comments: Beautiful setting...well maintained...a challenge for all skill levels. The 18 hole course can be played over and over again - just hard enough to keep you honest. Worth a trip for all serious Metro Area golfers. Take the family to The Glen 9-Hole layout and have a ball.
