This course is considered by many to be one of our Nation's premiere Military Courses. It was originally built in 1923 by Max Phillips of the famed Phillips Van Heusen Clothing Company of New York City as a private country club. The U.S. Army purchased the Monmouth County Country Club in 1942.
Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 45 miles. Holland Tunnel to Garden State Pkwy (south) to Exit 105. Pass the toll gate and bear right. At 1st light, go around intersection onto Hope Rd. Proceed to 3rd light, then make a right. Follow for approx. 1/4 mile to course on right.
