18 HOLE COURSE

Built: 1972 

Description: Not too long, but a challenging course nonetheless, offering the golfer “a little bit of everything”.  Hilly, tight, tree lined fairways demand accuracy and water comes into play on 6 of the 18 holes. 

Signature Hole: #3.  A 376 yard, par 4.  Tee shot is played over water to a narrow landing area.  2nd shot is to a green guarded by trees and three sand traps.

Comments: A great course for beginners and high handicappers. Although tree-lined with relatively small greens, Bunker Hill provides enough room off the tee for any golfer to experience a fun round.  At the price, it’s certainly worth a visit.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 52 miles.  
Holland Tunnel to NJ Tpke. (south) to Exit 9.  Proceed south on Rte. 1 for approximately 9 miles to New Rd. (go right).  Follow New Rd. (which becomes Bunker Hill Rd.) for 3 miles to course on right.
