18-Hole EAST Course

Built: 1932  (both courses)
Architect: Martin O’Loughlin

Description: Course is fairly flat and wooded.   Water comes into play on a few holes.  A nice test of skill for the intermediate golfer.

Signature Hole: #12. Tees off to a fairway that is crossed by a brook, 240 yards out.  2nd shot must be accurate and well played into a green that is surrounded by traps.  Intelligent club selection and accuracy is your key to success on this hole.

Comments: a bit more challenging than the Blue Course...nice test for all my clubs.

18-Hole EAST Course

Description: Shorter than the Red Course in length, but hilly and a bit more open. Water crosses several of the fairways at critical points...making for interesting play, and requiring accurate placement of shots.  

Signature Hole: #13.  Tees from an elevated green to a narrow, tree-lined fairway with a brook crossing it at 230 yards.  2nd shot is to an elevated, tricky, undulating green. 

Comments: wide open and easier than the Red Course...varied layout...fun for beginners and high handicappers.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 19 miles  
GW Bridge to Rte. 80W to Totowa Exit, (go right).  Follow to 2nd traffic light and make left.  Follow for approx. 2 miles to course on right.
