GOLF COURSE

Description: Located on the former grounds of the Rockland Psychiatric Center, this course was originally used bythe hospital staff only and now carries a membership that is "grandfathered" in. 
They receive preferencial tee times over regular residents and non-residents.  The nine holes are often played twice to make a full round of golf, and the courrse offers a some tight, tree-lined fairways and small, well-bunkered greens.  The course is pretty well maintained by the Town of Orangetwon.

Reader Comments: Good for a quick round ... Easy but enjoyable ... No complaints.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 23 miles.

GW Bridge to Palisades Pkwy. north to Exit 6W.  Take 2nd right onto Orangeburg Rd. and follow signs to Rockland Psychiatric Center.  Upon entering the Center follow main road to first stop sign and go right to club on left.
