Anglebrook Golf Club - Private 18-HOLE COURSE
Pro: Rob Davis, PGA Run down: Anglebrook was a huge piece of rolling terrain in Northern Westchester (240 acres with 200-foot elevation changes) where Robert Trent Jones, Sr. was allowed free rein. He completed the course in 1998, Golf Digest awarded it the 16th best course in the state the next year, and he died in 2000. The members are certainly proud of how tough the course is -- the 143 slope rating is among the Top 10 in Golf Guides USA's coverage area -- and it's a pure golf club, meaning no tennis or pool.
