Ranked #9 by Golf Digest Magazine in their latest ranking of ‘America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses’.

Comments: As the crow flies, the course is close to Shinnecock Hills on Long Island. Coupled with Maidstone, Friar’s Head and National Golf Links of America, these five courses surely comprise the finest cluster of courses in a forty mile radius. Fishers is neither the longest nor hardest of the five but it does enjoy the most romantic setting and is as delightful to play as any. No higher praise in the golf world is possible...Golf Club Atlas.
Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 120 miles. The only access to this island is by ferry from New London, CT.
