GOLF COURSE

Description: The management and course frequenters like to call Gull Haven a "family course," and that's an apt enough description.  Although it's a short course, it's still longer than executive length that has some short par-4s of some interest.  Not tough, but those holes can make it worthwhile for the mid- to low-handicapper as well.  Yet, this is really a place for beginners and senoirs, and it serves its purpose as a nice place to play the game

Reader Comments: I walk it all the time and love it ... Easy, but enjoyable ... Considering all the play it gets it's kept in pretty good shape.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 45 miles.
LIE East to Exit 56.  Go south on Rte 111, when road forks, stay left on Wheeler which becomes Carlton Ave., approx. 3 miles after the fork you’ll come to Gull Haven Dr. (go left) to course.
