Description: Considered by many to be the best course in all of New York City, La Tourette has undergone many changes and is the better for all of them.

The home almost every year for the New York City Amateur, as well as the March of Dimes Chartity outing, the course itself is pretty long for it's surroundings, and incorporates the rolling terrain of Staten Island very well. The fairways can be forgiving, and the greens are generally pretty small and moderately flat. It's a good test for all levels of golfers, and is still in the midst of some renovations that will make it even better.

Signature Hole: No. 10, 481-yard Par 5. Playing from an elevated tee to a tight fairway, this is one of the tougher and nicer-looking tee shots of the day. The second is uphill to a well-bunkered green, that makes it for a intimidating shot with a long iron or wood in hand.

Reader Comments: A nice variety of holes, and definitely the best course in the city ... My favorite course anywhere ... The conditions are getting better ... The greens are very tough to hold.
