Description: A links-style layout with small undulating greens. With it's expansive fairways and forgiving layout, this course is the perfect location for the beginner and experienced golfer alike. It will prove to be a good test of skill for beginners and intermediate level golfers.

Description: Probably one of the more challenging of the NYC courses. Offering tight, rolling fairways and plenty of trees to test your skill and accuracy. A shot-makers course, it is a challenge that forces you to use every club in your bag.

Signature Hole: #18. A 382 yard par 4, plays to an elevated green that is protected by the famous, majestic 260 years old oak tree.

Comments: this could be the best course in NYC, unfortunately, maintenance is very erratic ...sometimes good other times poor. Why is American Golf still running this facility? Aren't there better, more competent management companies out there for the City to hire?

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 15 miles.
New England Thruway, (I-95-north) to Exit 8B (Orchard Beach/City Island), follow to traffic circle. Proceed 1/2 way around circle to Shore Rd. (north) and follow 3/4 of a mile to courses on left.
