Description: A challenge for beginners, a good test for intermediates and low handicappers. Rolling, fairly narrow fairways and small greens. 

Signature Hole: #1.  Drive 200+ yards uphill to a plateau, then 180 yards down  a narrow fairway to the green...accuracy plus distance is key to your success here. 

Comments: amazing, take the subway to the first tee...one of the better city golf courses...friendly, accommodating staff.

Directions: Distance from Manhattan approximately 8 miles.

Car: FDR Drive to Major Deegan Expressway (north) to Exit 13 (East 233rd St.), go right at light, 1/2 mile to next traffic light, turn right into clubhouse parking lot.

Subway: #4 Lexington Ave. Express to last stop (Woodlawn / Jerome Ave.)...the course is right there.
